MY STORY

We all have a story, a journey that through the most challenging of times bring us to where we are meant to be, stronger than ever before.  Our journey is ever evolving, ever enriching and hopes for that happy ever after are within our reach.

Choices are ours to make and their outcomes, is what makes life beautiful.

When I was 26 years old, I was diagnosed with a colon polyp, this was the catalyst to change - a turning point to take responsibility for my health to find a new way of eating, thinking and above all choosing alternative healing methods. Beyond my doctor’s diagnosis of just treating the symptoms, I wanted to take it further - treat the cause in a more holistic way, starting from within.

In reviewing and in turn, improving my personal relationship with nutrition, experience has taught me that in becoming more informed about food, coupled with listening to my own body to help make the right choices, can have an immense impact on living a truly balanced lifestyle.

Accomplished within the creative and fashion industry, my career spans 10 years, the latter part of which was heading up a textile division with an internationally renowned, sustainable, sports lifestyle brand.

Although an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling position, the nature of this role inevitably became all consuming... long hours, lots of travel and fast paced city living took its toll.  I had unintentionally compromised my well-being and connection with what was most important: myself, love and time with those I love.

A turning point once again came to re-evaluate what it means to be balanced and happy.  And so I undertook a three year postgraduate course and training at CNM London.  I am now a qualified Naturopathic Nutritionist.

Simplified, my philosophy is based on what I regard to be the revolutionary three:

*Nutrition being the petrol of life

*Exercise to keep my body healthy and flexible

*Textiles, for warmth, comfort and style
